VMI (Vendor Managed Inventory)
VMI or Vendor Managed Inventory is our inventory management practice where the supplier is responsible for monitoring and replenishing inventory levels at the customers location-even multiple locations. This allows us to optimise stock levels based upon real time sales and inventory data, shifting the responsibility for ordering and stocking the back up products onto us.
Also sometimes referred to as Kan-Ban/ Bin replenishment/ Just in Time…

Kitting
Our in-house kitting processes allows you to get your parts to the marketplace in a professional manner whether it be large or small volumes of kits required.
Kitting is a technique for gathering and assembling in some cases, individual components into a single packaged unit. This helps improve efficiency by pre preparing complete kits in advance.

Rivet / Rivnut Tool Repair & Hire
Nutters fastenings have built up an enviable reputation based upon our knowledge and supply of sheet metal fastenings to Industry.
It may surprise you to learn that as well as selling setting tools for both Rivets and rivnuts that we also provide an in house repair and refurbishment service for those loved tools that may not be ready for the scrap bin!
Brands including FAR, Masterfix & Lobster are well known to our Engineers.
We keep a range of common replacement parts in stock to help speed up the repair process and help minimise your own tooling down time.
Should downtime be an issue we can also in most supply you with a replacement tool until the repair or replacement is sorted.

Cut to Length Allthreads
We keep in stock an extensive range of 3 metre and 1 metre lengths of allthread. Also known as Studding or screwed rod.
Utilising this immediate availability of material, we can offer cut to length sizes helping you to reduce waste and save your staff time on site.
No enquiry or order is too small – our minimum quantity is 1.
Key Cutting
Our in-house key cutting service offers fast, accurate duplication of a wide range of keys while you wait. Whether you need replacements for padlocks, cabinets or other applications, we provide a quick turnaround and dependable results.
Turned Parts Facility
Via our sister Company Bailey & Wade Engineering Co. Ltd we can provide bespoke precision turned parts. The state-of-the-art facility in Coventry boasts the latest technology and machinery, enabling the production of high-quality parts to exacting standards.
