As you may have seen over the past few weeks, a brave (and, at times, slightly questionable!) team from Nutters Fastenings took on the AJ Bell Great Birmingham Run on Sunday 3rd May 2026 – and we’re pleased to say… they did it!

More Than Just a Run

This wasn’t just about ticking a half marathon off the bucket list. The team laced up their trainers in support of an incredible cause – Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity – helping to raise funds that genuinely make a difference to young patients and their families.

Representing Nutters on the day were:

  • Liam Lynock
  • Jordan Farrell
  • Lou Fisher
  • Dave Fisher (who was very reluctantly involved!)
  • Katrina Dawson, who also took part independently and absolutely deserves a huge mention for completing the run

From early morning starts to sore legs and plenty of training miles, the team put in a huge effort – and crossing that finish line was a fantastic achievement.

A Huge Well Done

Taking on a half marathon is no small feat. It requires commitment, resilience and a good sense of humour when the blisters start to kick in.

So a massive congratulations to everyone involved – you’ve done yourselves (and the whole Nutters team) proud.

Supporting a Great Cause

The real win here goes beyond the finish line.

Birmingham Children’s Hospital Charity does vital work supporting seriously ill children and their families, helping to provide life-saving equipment, world-class facilities, and critical care.
